I am quite happy with my results. I improved for my English, Chinese and Maths. MY science marks fell from 96.5 to 86.5. Although I am the highest in class I knew that I could have done better. I am very very very contented with my English marks and I will try to work harder for my SA2.
English:82.5/95
Maths: 86/100
Chinese:82/90
Science: 86.5/100

Devious Andrew
“Ring…”Andrew stirred as the alarm clock rang shrilly. He woke up immediately and started to get ready for his usual morning jog. The outline of the rising sun blurred as the bright yellow blended with the white clouds. As Andrew stepped out of his parent’s apartment, his was locked on a catapult beside his potted plants. He flew down the flight of steps and picked it up and finally decided to take it with him.
Andrew jogged to the park with a sudden surge of enthusiasm and reached there in no time. He glanced around the park and sighed when he saw that there already two children giggling with obvious delight as they played on the seesaw. The grey cobblestones paved a narrow, meandering path trough the lush greenery, there was also a pond filled with glittering water and life. Suddenly, Andrew caught a glimpse of some birds in their nest and heard them chirping melodiously.
“I could use my catapult to shoot down the bird’s nest and catch some and bring them home.” He thought. He then tried to execute this devious plan. Andrew picked up a blunt stone from the ground. A young boy licking a lollipop with sheer bliss decided to stand behind Andrew to watch. When his father saw that, he raced over, at the hive and bellowed, “STAY AWAY FROM THAT HIVE!”
Andrew ignored him and released the stone with his catapult. Instead of hitting his target, the bird’s nest the stone landed smack on the beehive and it fell on the soil. The black and yellow insects that zoomed out were too big to be bees and were wasps. Andrew’s face blanched and his heart was slamming against his ribs. He shrieked with sheer terror, tore off and jumped into the pond. Everyone within the park followed suit and hoped to escape the infuriated wasps buzzing above the water.
Andrew was unable to hold his breath any longer and he leaped out of the pond. To the delight of the wasps, they stung him incessantly. He could not withstand the sharp, stinging pain as it was too excruciating and eventually fainted for to much blood loss. When he woke up, he found his parents sitting beside him in the hospital ward. They were so relieved that they could not stop sobbing. They explained that a helpful sanitarian had called the ambulance and he was brought to the hospital.
From this traumatic incident, Andrew learnt to think of the consequences before attempting to do something. The park was closed all because of his mischievousness. Andrew learnt his lesson the hard way and will never forget it as his injuries will always remind him.

very scary

If this doesn't inspire you, very little will!!!
I smiled after looking at the first photo...you will also smile. Just scroll down and you will get to know the story of Will Power.
You thought the dog is imitating the man. ....
Now have a close look at it....
So....
Got the message???
Despite being an animal he gets respect...
He gets a warm welcome everywhere.. ..
He gets a pat on his shoulder...
The doors are open for only those who believe in themselves and willpower which can make an animal walk on TWO LEGS...!! Remember this, when you come to some point when you think you cannot go on, what this humble dog has learned to do and overcome despite all odds, and keep on going yourself.

bullying
Bullying is a serious offense to me as people could feel hurt or injure themself. There are a few types of bullying such as verbal bullying. Verbal bullying is name calling, threatening and shouting all sorts of vulgarities. There is also a type of bullying that involve hitting other people which I think is very cruel. I rather have friends than enemies.

IPW REFLECTION
My class went to the civic district in Singapore. All the groups presented something on a historic place. Example, Lim Bo Seng Memorial and the old and new parliament house. We had an activity book with questions about the different places. So, we have to pay attention when the groups are presenting. it was very fun to visit all the places. I also learned many things from the trip. It had been an enjoyable experience. I also took a lot of pictures. I really had a great time.

yummy!
My wonderful trip
During my June holidays, I also went to Tasik Temmengoh. It is an island in Malaysia. On the first day, we were going to the waterfall. We had to trek in a jungle full of insects and many people were bitten by a leech(an insect that sucks blood from other animals). The water was freezing and refreshing. After that, we went to see the Rafflesia(a flower with the smell of rotting meat). It only smells awful when the flower blooms fully. To see that flower we had to climb a very steep hill. I fell down and grazed my hands and knees on a rock. But I carried on walking. I only saw one Rafflesia but it did not have a smell. The guide explained that it was wilting. I also saw a closed Rafflesia. Look at the pictures.
